Find a Mentor
Capstone Career Connection is not a job placement website. This site is meant for students to be able to search for a career mentor through their CrimsonCareers account. Mentors are available to answer questions about their career field, networking, resumes, and other job related topics. Our mentors are past alumni who will be able to provide you with insight from their real world experience. If you would like to search for a mentor in your field of study please create an account on CrimsonCareers.
Role of a Student
As a student, you may have expectations and goals you hope to realize through your mentoring relationship. Perhaps you want information about different career paths and work environments, or want to know how your mentor's education played a role in his or her career development. The following are expectations of your role as a student in the mentoring program:
- Remember, the purpose of a mentoring relationship is not finding employment; the Capstone Career Connection is NOT a job placement.
- Mentors agree to answer questions about their real-world experiences and are not to be contacted for job interviews.
- It is important to be respectful of your mentor's time and to be open to feedback and coaching
- Once you have registered an account with CrimsonCareers, you can login and search for mentors.
- It is still up to you, the student, to take initiative and develop the relationship.
