Assessments

The following online assessments can help you learn how your interests, personality traits, values, and skills relate to careers. Assessments are not designed to tell you what to major in or what career to pursue, but they can give you specific things to think about as you make career-related decisions.

CareerBeam

Referred to as a virtual career center, CareerBeam offers up to ten assessments that are combined to produce a personalized career profile.

eChoices

Multiple components are provided in this assessment. The Interest Profiler helps you identify your interest and see how they relate to the world of work. A Transferable Work Content Skills Checklist helps you assess your skills and see related occupations. The Work Importance Locator can help you learn more about your work values and decide what is important to you in a job.

The Career Center encourages you to meet with a Career Consultant to review the results of your assessment(s) for a clear understanding of how this information can help you in career planning.
